Youth Action Theatre presents variations on the theme of the Nativity, ancient and modern, in music, poetry and plays.
We begin with Matthew's account, followed by Tony Harrison's 'Nativity', from his adaptation of the York Mystery Plays. The evening continues with a performance of John Arden's short play 'The Business of Good Government', which, first performed in 1960, takes a more contemporary look at the story. We end with 'The journey of the Magi' by TS Eliot.
