YAT will next meet at its regular workshop/rehearsal space at Collis School, Teddington from 7.30pm on Thursday 21 May 2015 where we will be holding a read through for our second Summer 2015 production, DNA. This will be followed by auditions on Tuesday 2 June at 7.30pm at the same venue.

For those wanting to get involved with YAT this summer but unable to take part in the Edinburgh Fringe we have a fabulous alternative.

DNA is a one act play that explores gang culture, bullying and leadership. A group of teenagers watch one of their group fall to his death and set about a cover up to avoid getting the blame. As the investigation unfolds there are many unexpected twists and turns and we watch how the pressure and decisions to be made effects the various members of the group. Written just seven years ago it has already become a set text on a number of GCSE and A level drama syllabuses.

With lots of interesting and varied characters both male and female, some wonderful monologues and quick fire witty dialogue this is a play well suited for everyone in YAT. Come along to the read through, we are sure you will love it and want to get involved.

We will start rehearsals of DNA at the same time as those involved with the Fringe production of All's Well That Ends Well and form the other half of a double bill to be performed with them at the studio theatre at Hampton Hill.
