Winter 2013 :: Winter Festival :: Reading/Auditions
YAT will next meet at its regular workshop/rehearsal space at Collis School, Fairfax Road, Teddington from 7.30pm on Monday 19 November 2012 where we will be holding a read through for our Winter Festival. This will be followed by auditions on Thursday 22nd November at 7.30pm at the same venue.

This festival provides an opportunity for our members to write, direct and produce their own pieces. The line-up this year is a strong testament to the strong creative talents of the members and we look forward to creating a Winter treat for you all to blow away the January blues!

Rehearsals will run every Monday and Thursday from 7.30pm and we will perform in the Studio at Hampton Hill Playhouse across three nights from Thursday 17th January to Saturday 19th January 2013.

ACT TWO

"With Apologies to Treasure Island"
Written by Tom Wright
Directed by Tom Wright & Asha Gill
A comedy spoof of Treasure Island and the pirate genre in general. It's rather freewheeling in style, often breaking the fourth wall. It's been written with doubling of parts in mind and, as such, is quite flexible in terms of casting. Requires approximately 11 actors and 4 actresses but adaptable as previously mentioned
